Wraiths are said to be phantoms, which existed in Narnia, and were considered one of the White Witch's most loyal followers.
They were summoned by the White Witch to be part of her army at the First Battle of Beruna, and were also present at the slaying of Aslan at the Stone Table.
They're ghost-like phantoms in the dark hoods and surrounded by the dark flame-like clouds. They have a glowing eyes and the black skeletal hands peeking from under of their hoods' sleeves and they seem to be capable for the dark magic, like conjuring out of nowhere a dark fireballs that they can throw at their enemies. They also can hover in the air, but when they need to move, they turn into the dark clouds to fly around. Their presence appears to be so terrifying that even the Centaurs, the most bravest soldiers in Aslan's army, would back away from them. It is unknown are they either physical beings or spirits or both and that can they be harmed with weapons. But if you go too close of them, they may strike you with their claws or snatch you off the ground with ease and throw you away, proving that they're incredibly strong. Wraiths usually do well in the dark places and they're vulnerable to the bright daylight. If they get exposed to it, they let out the hellish scream of anguish before withdrawing in order to get somewhere they find dark enough and safer from the daylight.
