Wooses are savage beings in the world of Narnia, who were followers of the White Witch.
They were summoned by the Witch, when she sent her wolf, Vardan, to gather her army for the coming war against Aslan's army. They fought in the First Battle of Beruna.
They were also present at Aslan's Sacrifice at the Stone Table.
They have hair of a bear and a tail of a horse followed by the body of a human.

Trivia[]
- Lewis may have based Wooses off of the Wood Woads from medieval mythology, who were wild people of the woods. Hairy, savage and clad in leaves, they represented the opposite of civilized man. Also, Wooses may be connected to the Druedain or Woses in Tokien's Lord of the Rings.
