The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was a ten-part serial adaptation of C.S. Lewis's fantasy novel The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. It aired on ITV in 1967. Altogether there was a total of ten episodes, although only episodes one and eight are the only known episodes that still exist today. Unlike all other adaptations, the animals were all portrayed by actors in costumes, whereas in the others, the animals would be computer generated, with the actors only providing the voices.
