The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe was a full-cast radio drama produced in 1988 by BBC Radio 4 as part of the Tales of Narnia series. It was produced by Geoffrey Marshall-Taylor and dramatized for radio by Brian Sibley.
Broadcast History[]
The Lion, the witch, and the Wardrobe, the first of the Tales of Narnia series, first aired in Britain on January 14th, 1988. It was originally produced as an educational resource for BBC School Radio, and first aired as a BBC School Radio broadcast.
The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe was first broadcast internationally in 1990. Four 30 minute episodes were broadcast on Fridays and Thursdays by BBC World Service from 3rd May, 1990 to 11th May, 1990.
