Move to Dwarf?[]
After making this page, I discovered that neither Black Dwarf nor Red Dwarf has its own page--info about them is only on the Beast page and the Dwarf page. It looks like we should either give red and black dwarfs their own page or shove renegade dwarfs onto the dwarf page. Thoughts? Lasaraleen Tarkheena (talk) 21:34, November 21, 2012 (UTC)
I think we should move this page onto the Dwarf page, as it'll save space, and will save time from creating new pages for red and black dwarves. Storyseeker1 (talk) 21:40, November 21, 2012 (UTC)
That might be the right choice, but I don't think it would be a huge amount of work, because we already have the info in sections on the Dwarf page. I don't think wiki space needs to be a huge consideration--the Harry Potter wiki has more than 10,000 pages, and it seems to be doing alright. I think it could be valuable to have them separated, because there is a lot to be said about dwarves as a whole on the dwarf page that's not related to the different types of dwarves. I would suggest creating a page for each with a redirect to the dwarf page. That way if someone looks for one of the types it goes directly to the Dwarf Page. EdmundtheJust (talk) 02:14, November 22, 2012 (UTC)
Definitely, if we're not making pages for each in their own right. The question is whether black, red, and renegade dwarfs are separate enough from dwarfs as a whole and have enough information about them individually to deserve a page. I did go ahead and seperate the types of Dwarf out, even though I realize we never came to a consensus. I was editing the Dwarf page, and I found that there was too much info to shove everything together. If anyone disagrees, please feel free to discuss it further here.
