The Sun-birds were pure white birds who lived in the Narnian sun.
Description[]
They flew out of the Sun each morning, and ate the food on Aslan's_Table_(books), which was replaced every evening. One bird would bring a fire-berry and place it in Ramandu's mouth. Each berry made him a tiny bit younger, until at last he would become "as young as the child which was born yesterday," and resume his dance through the heavens. After eating the feast and delivering the fire-berry, the birds would fly away from Ramandu's Island and return to the Sun.
