Panthers are fast, intelligent animals in the world of Narnia. They are described as being black coloured, and are very loyal to Aslan.

Panthers were among the animals that were sung into existence, and chased Andrew Ketterley, after Aslan created Narnia.

Some panthers fought in the Battle of Anvard against the Calormenes, when Narnia was defending their allies in Archenland. They proved valuable in the battle, as they scared the Calormene soldier's horses, causing them to fall off.
