Panthers are fast, intelligent animals in the world of Narnia. They are described as being black coloured, and are very loyal to Aslan.
Panthers were among the animals that were sung into existence, and chased Andrew_Ketterley_(books), after Aslan created Narnia. After emerging from the ground, they kicked off the excess dirt off their hindquarters and sharpened their claws on trees.
Some panthers fought in the Battle of Anvard against the Calormenes, when Narnia was defending their allies in Archenland. They proved valuable in the battle, as they scared the Calormene soldier's horses, causing them to fall off.
BBC Adaption[]
A brown panther with wings was among the members of Aslan's army.
Film Adaption[]
In the 2008 film, Prince Caspian, many panthers were seen with the Old Narnians, who became loyal to Caspian X. They took part in the Telmarine Castle Night Raid, and fought in the Second Battle of Beruna against the Telmarine army.
