Julia Rose Udine is an American singer and actress best known for playing the role of Christine Daaé in The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway and on tour.

In the upcoming Broadway musical of the Chronicles of Narnia, she will play the roles of Polly Plumber and Lucy Pevensie.

Biography

Udine was born in Camden, New Jersey in 1993 and grew up in nearby Voorhees Township.^[1][2] She graduated from Eastern Regional High School in 2011 and briefly attended Pennsylvania State University before moving to New York to train at Broadway Dance Center.^[3]

Filmography

In 2013 and 2014, she played the role of Christine Daaé in the US tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical The Phantom of the Opera.^[3][4] She joined the Broadway cast on December 15, 2014.^[5]

She played Mabel in the New York City Center production of The Pirates of Penzance in the Fall of 2015.^[6] In 2018, she starred in the one-woman Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Tell Me on a Sunday at Philadelphia's Walnut Street Theater.
