Focus on the Family Radio Theatre was a series of radio dramas created by American evangelical Christian organization Focus on the Family. The series ran from 1996 to 2013. The first radio production in the series was a 1996 adaptation of Charles Dickens's 1843 novella A Christmas Carol.
After their production of A Christmas Carol was a success, they sent a CD of their Christmas Carol radio drama to Douglas Gresham, who granted Focus on the Family permission to co-produce the Chronicles of Narnia. In collaboration with the C. S. Lewis estate, they created audio dramas of all seven of the books in The Chronicles of Narnia.
