Efreets are an evil form of monsters that served the White Witch during the Hundred Year Winter. They were present at the slaying of Aslan at the Stone Table, and fought in the White Witch's Army at the First Battle of Beruna.
They are often associated with Ghouls.
They have a body of a leopard, head and long neck of an ostrich, long legs of a flamingo and even the toes of an eagle.

The word is a variant of Afreet, Efreet, Efrite, Ifreet, Afreet, Afrite and Afrit. In Islamic culture, they are usually described as a powerful type of Jinn, or are identified with death-spirits. They have spikes of a porcupine, the body of a human, and even the head of a vulture unlike the Cruels.
