The crescent was the primary unit of currency in the Calormene Empire. It was used in the Lone Islands in the late twenty-third century as the unit of currency in the Narrowhaven slave market. It was subdivided into forty minims.
Trivia[]
The crescent was worth about one third of the pound sterling in early 1950. This was worth approximately ₤25 in February 2010[1], which means that a Calormene minim was approximately equal to the February 2010 American dollar.
