"MAN: This elegant little biped has long been valued as a delicacy. It forms a traditional part of the Autumn Feast, and is served between the fish and the joint."
―Excerpt from Giants' cookbook[src]

The Autumn Feast was a holiday celebrated by the giants of the Wild Lands of the North, in which the most sought after delicacy was Man.

History[]

Events[]

"...that She of the Green Kirtle salutes them by you, and has sent two fair southern children for the Autumn Feast."
―The Lady of the Green Kirtle[src]

Eustace Scrubb, Jill Pole and Puddleglum narrowly escaped being served as part of the feast, when tricked by the Lady of the Green Kirtle, who told them to tell the giants that she had sent them "for the Autumn Feast". Jill, Eustace and Puddleglum discovered what the giants were planning to do after waiting in the kitchen of the palace, and finding a cook book with information on how to cook humans and marsh-wiggles.
