Winter Revolution[]

As1

Aslan first appears.

When the four Pevensies first came to Narnia, they were informed via the Beavers that Aslan had returned in order to aid them in their fight against the White Witch. The first signs of his arrival came as the once permanent winter slowly began to melt away, revealing a across the land. His presence, the might of his roar, the baring of his teeth and the shake of his mane had brought an end to the neverending winter. Upon his arrival within Narnia, before (or perhaps during) the Penevsies proper arrival into Narnia, Aslan began gathering all those still faithful to him at his camp, to prepare for the upcoming war.

When the children had explained they came to see him, Aslan emerged from his tent and offered them greeting, greeting Peter,Susan, and Lucy Pevensie properly and thanking the Beavers for bringing them there at his campsite. When he realized the fourth was missing, he asked where Edmund was. Despite Mr. Beaver and Oreius declaring Edmund a traitor, Aslan decided to see if there was an explanation, even if Edmund being the brother of the other Pevensies made the trechery all the worse.

Being a lion of fairness and belief, he spoke to Peter shortly after, about his destiny to sit on one of the four thores of Cair Paravel as high king. Despite Peter doubting himself, Aslan held much regard to him and promised to do what he could for Edmund. In this time, Aslan referenced the fact that there was a deeper magic than any ruler of Narnia, and that Aslan also wanted to keep his family safe. During this time, Maugrim had arrived with one of his fellow wolves and attempted to kill Susan and Lucy, only to be slain by Peter whilst Aslan held the other wolf down. Aslan had ordered the rest of his followers to remain still when Peter fought, and once Peter defeated Maugrim, Aslan let the other wolf go, sending his army after the wolf in order to find and rescue Edmund from the White Witch.

Upon his arrival into Aslan's camp, Edmund spoke to Aslan alone. After he atoned for his treachery, Aslan informed the others not to scold Edmund further, as what was done is done. However, Jadis had soon arrived in Aslan's camp, having come to reclaim Edmund for he was a traitor. Despite his offence not being against witch herself, the laws of Narnia were clear. The law being that every traitor belonged to Jadis and that it was the White Witch's right to sacrifice Edmund. If she did not have the blood as the law demanded, all of Narnia would be overturned and perish in fire and water. So, she declared that as he was a traitor, Edmund would die on the Stone Table. In order to save him, Aslan privately discussed a bargain with the witch for Aslan to be sacrificed in Edmund's stead. As the Witch was about to leave, Aslan revealed to the camp that she had renounced her claim on Edmund's blood. When she asked how she would know that Aslan's promise would be kept, he let out a mighty roar, sending her off. Only Lucy seemed to know something as wrong as Aslan's eyes bore a sadness in them.

The night of his sacrifice, Susan and Lucy had found Aslan prowling away from his camp and calmly requested to follow him to whereever he was going. Aslan accepted the company for the small time being, knowing the Penevsie daughters were unaware of what was to come. But when he arrived near the site of his end, Aslan ordered them to stay behind as he had to go alone, for it was what must be done. Aslan ventured to the Stone Table, face-to-face with the White Witch. He was knocked down by her guard, bound and mocked, shaved by her armies, and then brought upon the table, where the White Witch killed him. Aslan remained dead for the time being, as Susan and Lucy sent their message to Peter and the rest of Aslan's armies.

However, according to the laws of the Deeper Magic, Aslan was resurrected. As per the law: "When a willing victim who has comitted to trechery is killed on a traitor's stead, the stone table will crack, and death itself will turn backwards." Now that he was resurrected and war was at hand, Aslan took Susan and Lucy to the White Witch's castle. There, he revived all the people petrified in the Witch's dark magic. What was once stone was now flesh and bone as Aslan brought forth everyone in the castle back. When they arrived at the battlfield of the First Battle of Beruna, Aslan made his prescence known by roaring atop of a high mountain as the new additions to the armies added to turn a one sided battle into a fair fight. Just as Peter was about to be defeated by the Witch, Aslan lunged, pinning her under his paw and killing her with his fangs. Aslan then turned to Peter, saying three words: "It is finished.", instantly resolving the battle.

After the war was won, Aslan crowned the Pevensie siblings as the new monarchs of Narnia, celebrating their new reign over Narnia. Aslan was then seen walking away along the sandy shores, venturing into far off regions far beyond sight. Lucy and Mr. Tumnus were the ones to see him go, as Mr. Tumnus made it clear that Aslan comes and goes as he wishes, for he is wild, an untamed Lion, and thus he comes and goes as he wishes.

Aslan's roar can be heard at the end, coming from the Wardobe shortly after Professor Digory Kirke informs Lucy that she cannot enter Narnia via the Wardrobe again, but that she will one day return when the time is right.

Narnian Revolution[]

Aslan was absent from Narnia during the Telmarine Conquest, and therefore most of the hunted and oppressed Narnians lost faith in him. However, when the Pevensies were transported back to Narnia, Aslan also returned and slowly tried to get everyone to believe in him once more.

Aslan reveals himself to Trumpkin.

The Pevensies, Prince Caspian, and their army set up camp in Aslan's How, the hilly mound of earth that covered what had once been the Stone Table, which Aslan was sacrificed on.

Although they did not follow him at first, they eventually trusted him again, and, accordingly, Aslan awoke the hibernating Narnians, and called forth a river-god to end the Second Battle of Beruna.

Aslan blessed Caspian as the next king of Narnia, and returned many of the conquered Telmarines to Earth, to start a new life.

Search for Aslan's Country and the Seven Lost Lords[]

Several years after ascending his throne, Caspian lead a voyage aboard the Dawn Treader, to find Aslan's Country at the end of the world, and to find the Seven Lost Lords. Aslan called Edmund, Lucy, and Eustace Scrubb from Earth to join Caspian on his voyage, in order to teach them important personal lessons.

On Deathwater Island, Aslan helped Caspian and Edmund learn to resist greed, helped Lucy come to terms with her insecurities and need to be beautiful on Coriakin's Island, and turned Eustace into a dragon in order to help him realise his own flaws and self-righteousness on Dragon Island. [[File:32.jpg|thumb|left|Lucy's dream in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (film). Once the Dawn Treader reached the sweet waters, Aslan ordered Caspian through a dream to send Edmund, Lucy, Eustace and the talking mouse, Reepicheep, to the shore at the end of the world.

Here, Aslan revealed the wonder and splendor of his country without ever showing what lied beyond the entrance. He allowed Reepicheep to pass on from Narnia to Aslan's Country, and even restored his tail after his bravery and honor in the battlefield. He had informed the others that entry to his country was one-sided, meaning that they would never return should they dare to pass on into his country. After Reepicheep left to his country, Aslan had sent the others home, but not before revealing that this would be the final time Lucy and Edmund would see Narnia, and that he would always be watching them in their world. He revealed that in their world, he goes by another name, and that they must know him by that name.-For it was why they were brought to Narnia in the first place, that by knowing him in Narnia for a little, they may know him better in their world.- Aslan hinted that Eustace would return, for Narnia may have need of him yet, and that they would all see each other one day.
