Ankle Slicers were small reptilian creatures resembling almost featherless chickens with parrot-like heads that serve Jadis' Army. True to their name, Ankle Slicers brought down their enemies by slicing through their ankles with sharp scythes.

In the First Battle of Beruna, they were responsible for cutting down a charging rhinoceros, among several others of Narnia's Army.

Behind the scenes[]
- While Ankle Slicers aren't mentioned in the books, there are some small beaked reptilian creatures in the witch's forces in two full-coloured illustrations from the Deluxe Edition of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, in the scenes at the Stone Table and the Battle, which may have inspired the film makers to create them.[citation needed]
